Innovation & Learning
There is a need to build a supportive innovation chain for linking discovery, development and deployment. The JPC is working on positioning the City of Hamilton as the centre of innovation. Innovation is dependent on the development of human capital within our city. It will require that we leverage our assets and networks in the area of education and training. This important part of the framework requires Hamilton’s citizens to position themselves through learning, education and training from early years through K-12, college skill trades, university, and lifelong formal and informal learning. Hamilton must retain as many of our graduates as possible.
